Amps do not normally have AAC onboard codecs. It is something you usually only find on the more expensive amps. Dec 2010 You doen't need to convert your files. Use TsMuxer to remux them to m2ts format. If you mux them with MKVmerge be sure you have select zlib in compression option. AAC is just another audio format like MP3. Games for the most part send their sound as either an uncompressed sound wave (called PCM) or using Dolby/DTS. AAC mostly just appears in music, so like L3379 said, it's for playing back music on the PS3 that you have in that format. As far as I know, AAC is not used in any game. 2 Reply Share
