    So, the SCPH1001 playstation was the first released and apparently is a pretty nice sounding CD player. I took some components out of the signal path from the DAC. So removed muting transistors, DC blocking caps and OP amp from the signal path and replaced the whole lot with two hefty capacitors and fresh grounding resistors.
