Prototype's audio bugs haven't been fixed as there'll be no patch forthcoming from Radical. Here's the fix. Radical Entertainment ceased to be a development studio in 2012. This game so buggy, I googled some and ended up making two guides for it. I hope this will help fellow PC gamers cut corners in finding the fix. Happy gaming!

Has anny one a Prototype Volume Fix? I have already changed the audio sampling frequency, but the Volume still is to low. (I have set my system volume higher now, but that is a problem if i start annithing else, even windows loggin volume now is to high!)

If you cannot find the option in your sound card software you can try the generic fix below: Right click volume control on system tray and choose Playback devices. Choose the your default playback deveice and click properties. Go to the advanced tab. The default audio format should be selectable from there.
