Make sure you're using speed limiter (System -> Limit FPS), uncheck "send Audio lists to audio plugin" (Options -> Configure RSP), disable (or enable if thats the case) "Sync game to audio" (Options -> Configure Audio plugin), and make sure the game you're playing doesn't have audio issues (check the ROM browser notes) Last edited: Apr 23, 2006

#2 There can be over a billion reasons why PJ64 is not giving you sound. You have to be a bit more specific about the problem. Like what plugins you are using, what are your PC specs, what kind of an error is the emu or plugin giving you...understand. We'll be glad to help. T turok New member Jul 23, 2004 #3

Project64 fullscreen audio issues : EmulationOnPC

Project64 fullscreen audio issues. Solved. Hey everybody. I'm using project 64 2.3.2.202. Video Plugin is GlideN64 Public Release 4.0. Audio plugin is either Jabo's 1.7.0.7 or Azimers HLE Audio v0.56 WIP2. Everything works fine if I run it in a window. However I'm running it off a pc to a TV so I'd like to play it fullscreen.

SOLVED: My n64 has no sound? - Nintendo 64 - iFixit

    https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/324429/My+n64+has+no+sound
I had no issues with my N64. The chip I removed is stated to be an amp but I noticed no sound quality or volume loss. Apparently that chip is there only to close those two paths. Alternatively it might be a problem with the capacitors C25, C26 or C142. So replacing them might work too. Check them for shorts.

Try to restart the system and see if that helps, if not check the sound plugin in pj64 and the sound settings in Windows. I neither helps, then check Device Manager in Windows and check if you need to reinstall the sound driver. OP Tekuwolf Teku Member Nov 29, 2012 #3 I turned it off. It's just the emulator.

N64 has no sound? : RetroPie

So I setup retropie a couple days ago and ive been putting roms on. The sound for all of them has been fine (snes, nes, psx, and megadrive) but when I play any n64 game there is absolutely no sound. I tested it with another TV and it worked fine but with mine, no sound. I have my pi connected to a speaker via 3.5mm jack.
