Video played, not the audio. All my audio has disappeared from every app/program on my computer. Restarting. Sigh . . . UPDATE #3: Tried using an mp4 video with h.264 codec, but WMM still wouldn't play the audio. Same problem - audio is gone on all apps/programs until I restart. Sigh. WMM hates me. I'm going to look into reinstalling WMM.

I have a Media Centre based on Home Premium. I am experiencing an issue in that I cannot get audio from several WMV files from Media Centre. They work fine in Media Player classic, but not in PowerDVD, VLC or Media Centre. They do work however on my Linksys 2200 extender and an Xbox 360. Takes a few seconds - depending on the length of the movie of course. Now, all of a suden, it takes 10 minutes or more to open a short wmv file in goldwave.
