Been thanked: 0 time. I recently installed Universal Control 2.0.2.42749 to my new laptop so I could use it with my AudioBox 22VSL, as an audio interface to my Presonus RM80s. Laptop is running updated Windows 10 Home. I've noticed that every time audio begins to play, the speakers click twice, and then whatever sound was about to play.

Therefore, I set the Presonus Audiobox 22VSL as the default device in the recording tab, but I checked "listen to this device" with level 0, another device/audio interface. In this case, it's not necessary to adjust the volume level to 0, checking "listen to this device" it's enough. I hope it helps. Post a reply.

The main function of the presonus was to give a low latence output of ivory, or vintage piano samples. After lots of reading around i settled on presonus (more accurately the Audiobox 22VSL) after many great reviews from people that know more than me. Upon buying a unit via ebay i actually received an older USB version.
