There are a few discs that have hidden audio before the first track. Sometimes called HTOA for hidden track one audio. Audio that is hidden in the pregap before track one. To be able to rip that audio you will need a ripper that can rip the pregap before track one, and a drive that can handle it (not all drives will). Those are special cases.

mauriz. Go into Read mode and see if the 'View Media Information' button in the 'Source' box brings up a screen showing the pregaps etc as you expect to see them. Yes, in Read mode the 'media information' shows 'Index 0' exactly where I wrote 'pregap' in the cuesheet and associates it with the following track.

That's the pregap stuff, so set the start slider all the way left and the end slider where negative becomes positive, then hit okay. Like I said, this makes my system hang. I just did a quick Google on it, and some drives (mine apparently included) can't read this pregap stuff.
