You can't have a continuous power output greater than the rated power input. actually I made a copying mistake, the 500 is 400w dynamic and 200w continuous. well take it up with Polk then...check the links, that is what they say.... The 400 is 180w cont and reads 160w consumption rating and the 600 is 250w cont and reads 200w for power consumption.
