The CSi3 is a very nice "not too expensive" centre speaker. The box is a little big compared to other speakers in this class but the sound is full and crystal clear in the highs. It really projects vocals out as it should. Quality construction with good posts makes it easy to connect and it looks fine with a high-end home theatre system.

The CSi5 is a step up from the CSi3 in sound quality. It's a prefect match for the RTi8's as well. I have the same setup you are considering and had a CSi3 in my system before I upgraded to the CSi5. It was worth the 200 extra dollars.
