The SL2500 are pretty rare to find, although someone here may have a pair. I'd recommend calling up Polk and ordering the silk-dome replacement tweeters (an upgrade!). Make sure to get the correct replacement. The tweeter that replaces the SL2500 is the RD0-198; the replacement for the SL2000 is the RD0-194.

SL2500 has a black plastic-looking dome. I have these in my Monitor 10 series 2's. The SL2000 Replacement is black also. Except, its more of a black-fabric looking dome. There is no doubt that the SL2000 Replacement is a superior tweeter to the SL2500. Much more refined upper end.

Instead Polk offers a black faceplate tweeter. They used the faceplate from the SL2500 and the dome from the SL2000 to make a replacement tweeter that is suggested for both the SL1000 and SL2000 models. The new faceplate does not always match up perfectly to the original faceplate, so you might need to adjust your screw holes accordingly.

The original SL1000 had an aluminum faceplate, which is no longer available. Polk has replaced the SL1000 with this SL2000/RD0194-1 tweeter.
