The model that used the SL2000 was the SRS 1.2, and it had a different crossover unit as well, thus making it a totally different speaker. In future reviews, it would probably be best to differentiate between the two models (and a third if you count the original SRS from late 1985!) I own a pair of the 1.2tl's and a modified version of the 2.3tl's.

Vintage Polk Audio speakers are some of the "best bang for buck" components in the audio world. Over the years I have had the opportunity to own a few different models and all were extremely enjoyable. Currently I have a pair of SDA-1C in my 2-channel rig and the more time I spend with them the more I appreciate these vintage floorstanders.
