The 500's are about $200 less than the RTiA9's and the 700's are a couple hundred more but have 6.25" drivers. The Polks are pretty efficient in sensitivity so a mid range receiver show power them adequately. But I've also heard from others that to make them sing/come alive, more power is a welcome attribute.
