It uses the newer R-series tweeter that matches the R150's and R300's. The R50 uses the older R-series tweeter, which is the same as the one in the R30, T15 and R15. The proper center is either a CSM or CSi25. From what I gather those two centers are the same, with only aesthetic differences. I speak from experience on this matter.

You can get cherry colored pairs of R50's AND R30's for $299.96 before tax/shipping online. Unfortunately, there is no timbre-matching cherry colored center (Csi20 only comes in black).

My dad recently purchased a new CSi25 that matches perfectly with R50's and R30's from Fry's in Houston. Whats intresting is this speaker does not show up on the Polk Website, its a dual woofer Csi20 and sounds beautiful. I bought one on sale as well for 99$ since I have been looking for awhile now for a perfect center match for the r30's.
