The M10's sats cut off at about 140hz before the sub kicks in and fills the rest, just like a typical Klipsch Promedia satellite. The Polk R150 goes straight to 60hz before you need to get a sub to augment the infrasonics. The R150, as I've heard it, has a good full sound to it (for a bookshelf) and would be my choice if you want to start out right.
