My Monitor 10 Series II sounded as good as the new ones. I did buy the Polk LSIM Center Channel and my front is seamless. Same Quality all the way across the front they blend in perfectly. People knock the mid range. You can't find a better overall Speaker that is as pleasing to the ear with absolutely no fatigue. They are pure Authentic Sound.

The Monitor 10's are a great speaker,nice imaging,good highs and bass.One the best used bargains out there.They are not placement sensitive.One quality I can describe best about these speakers is that there is a live feel to the performance.The sound sounds about 8 foot high and 5 foot deep.I guess you might consider this the imaging.I dont remember ever hearing any …

I’m new to the Polk family here.... I just picked up a pair of Monitor 10 Series 2. They are in fabulous shape. The crossover capacitors have been up graded to Clarity CSA (for the tweeter circuit) and Solen (for the woofer shunt) and Mills resistors. Tweeters are upgraded to RD0-198’s. I’m currently powering these with a Yamaha CR820.
