In all cases, with different types of music, I preferred the LSi9's, stock and modded to the 703's. The modded LSi9s' were preferable (to my ears) by a WIDE margin. The 703's had plenty more bass, but just seems the lack the life of the 9's all around.

I got them for a great price ($350 CDN), and the crossovers were even modified by the original owner with Solen film caps and Mills resistors. They sound fantastic in my bedroom system.
