The speakers are driven by various receivers, Nad, Onkyo, and Yamaha. The SRS 3.1 weighs 101 lbs, each, and they sound great with a 12 year old Onkyo 100 watts receiver. The Lsi15 is a different story. Truth to be told, my Lsi9 sounds much better, only with the receivers. That is not the Lsi15's fault, I knew they are very demanding speakers.

The LSi15 claim to go down to 22 hz, but I want it to get there and speak it loudly! I know I will one day have to get a better sub, but really I am looking for a mid-fi setup with maybe one or two fantastic pieces added each year. My first purchase, for example, will be a better amp like the Denon 4306 or 4806.
