I have been using the Polk Audio Lsi25's.for 2 years and flat out love them.I am powering them with a higher end receiver the Marantz SR7010 and use a Marantz media player a lot of the time. I also have the Polk Lsi series for surround and center channel. I listen to mostly blues with a variety of other types of music including rock and jazz.

The Klipsch tweeters also had an "air" about them (probably micro-dynamics) that really complements live recordings. I can live with the way the Lsi-7 presents treble, but ultimately I several comparably priced speakers that I preferred. To wrap up this overly long review, hauling the Lsi-7 out to a bunch of different show rooms was very ...

Polk Audio LSi15 Floorstanding Speakers. The LSi15 is a floorstanding speaker that delivers superior linearity, definition and imaging, as well as bass response that’s rich, deep and satisfying. Like the whole LSi Series, they are highly accurate and intensely musical. Their mirrored image driver arrays and Ring Radiator Tweeter present ...

In my review of Polk Audio's RT25i loudspeaker (September 2001, Vol.24 No.9), I was mightily impressed with Matthew Polk's execution of this $320/pair design. Although it has since been replaced by the RT27i, with slightly modified cosmetics and a different tweeter, the RT25i remains my favorite loudspeaker costing less than $500/pair. Since that review, I've …

The new Polk Lsi series are great speakers. I heard them at the Alexis Park at this years CES. I was suprised indeed. The sound quality, detail, and overall presentation was better than many speakers costing much more. I listened to Polk Lsi's extensively after the show, and read the glowing reviews from W. Philips & A. Cordesman.

Polk Audio LSiM 703 PowerPort. On the rear of the speaker you will find Polk’s proprietary PowerPort technology. PowerPort is a cone that sits at the mouth of the port. Polk claims this reduces port chuffing and has the same effect on bass that a longer port tube would.

REVIEW: Polk Lsi9. Thanks to Courtney (szhleppy), Wes (I-SIG) and myself had a chance to audition a pair of Lsi9's that he brought down, thanks bud!...on to the review... Speakers were setup on makeshift (err...redneck) stands that placed the tweeter at ear level. My apologies for the cheesey stands, but I haven't owned a stand-mounted ...

Speakers everywhere: towering gloss-black monoliths in the front, triangles on the sides, and rectangles in the center and back. Polk's LSi speaker system can technically be a 7.3 system, as the powered towers can double as subs. If you're in the mood to count, this system has 27 drivers, including nine tweeters, with 465 watts spread between 40 inches of woofer.
