The CSi5 is a HUGE speaker, much bigger than the LSiC. It size and ruggedness seem perfectly suited for carrying the center channel load imposed by heavy-duty soundtracks. BTW, I'm perfectly happy with the LSiC now which is part of a music-only system. Haven't heard the CS400i so can't offer any opinions there.

I'm in the process of building a 5.1 system and chose the polk audio CSi5 for the center channel. The CSi5 compliments my RTi8's perfectly. Dialog is clear, and crisp. The CSi5 is a pretty hefty for center channel, but with an aftermarket speaker shelf, it looks right at home on top of a 60 inch sony. Build quality is solid and typical polk.
