Uninstall both Plex Media Server and Plex Client. Unplug the external drive. Reboot Shield. Reinstall both Plex Client and Plex Media Server. I've been having some weird issues with some of my movie files while playing them in Plex's web player. Problems: Every few seconds the movie skips forward suddenly (1-2 seconds/a few frames). Plex is constantly skipping! Every 5 minutes or so just about, a message comes up - "Playback has stopped because the connection to the Plex Media Server has been lost. Please ensure the server is available and retry". Once I hit retry, it works and the message will come up again in a few minutes or whatever.

audio skipping. My roku has started skipping with app like netflix, plex and disney+. It's going through my AV receiver witch is an onky TX-NR676. Any ideas why this is happening. The only thing I can think of is the roku HDCP isn't 2.2, any idea's would be helpful?
