Plex on the NVIDIA SHIELD TV supports passthrough of: DTS-HD MA 5.1/7.1 (And subsequently DTS-X) Dolby True-HD 5.1/7.1 (And subsequently Dolby Atmos) LPCM 8 / 16 / 24bit. DTS. AC3. DD+. Report Post. Any 4k movie I play through Plex/Kodi with True HD 7.1/DTS-HD MA seems to get audio dropouts and I can't figure out why. Its usually during loud parts but also heard in quiet parts as well. Originally I thought it might be network related but I am using wired ethernet and confirmed speeds using iperf at ~1gbps.
