Sound problems. At first, I tried out Turok. It worked fine when it came to audio. However, I've tried many others out (Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Goldeneye, Quake 64, Mission Impossible) and all have the same problem. The visual works fine. However the problem is that the sound tends to both skip and make a crunchy sound.

Try enabling disable audiothread sleep to see if it helps. If you still get crackling, try lowering the Backend FPS to 30, the lowest setting in this special build. Higher FPS settings means smaller buffer, lower latency, but increased chance of getting static crackles. Default is 90. Ticks on the bar are increments of 5. Try 30 - 40 - 60 etc.

Open Project64. Open Settings (Ctrl-T) and click OK without making any changes (or close the window). Open any (U) ROM. VI/s will be correct. NOTE: If you disable FAT or Sync-to-Audio, VI/s will show 60 VI/s but the audio is still lagging behind (heavy crackling). If you do the workaround steps before, audio will play correctly.
