Good morning all, just picked a pf-800 a couple days ago and it is a fantastic table. A couple questions tho. Wanted to check oil level in spindle, both platters are off but don’t see any way to add oil. Do I need to take c-clip off of the center piece and pull out? Another question, belt length. Have read 17” but wanted to double check.

Agreed, this pf-800 doesn’t give that warm sound some people like. I’m even running it they my marantz 2245 and still it doesn’t have that marantz softness. Honestly, I want to listen to the music as recorded, not with artificial warmth or whatever you want to call it.
