    I currently use 317/337 regs with my Pedja buffer but Pedja specifically used the 7815/7915 to keep the regs as close as possible to the buffer circuit. If you want to go for broke later on you could always replace the 7815/7915 with some Paul Hynes 'specials' (or similar). ;)
