Can anyone confirm if the optical audio output on the Panasonic VIERA series television offers variable output? There's nothing to confirm - the digital Optical Audio output is fixed line-level only, not variable. Panasonic hasn't had Variable Audio Output on any of it's TV since around 2004. Quote:

I have to say I don't blame you one bit for doing this, d123456. It was in my quest to find out if my Panasonic plasma TV has variable audio output that I came across this thread.
