I'm using the onboard sound card for my Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0 mobo. The sound chipset is Realtek ALC889. I've updated the latest drivers, but there is crackling/static noise when I play music. Currently I mainly use a 2.1 speaker system. But Ive tried testing it with headphones the static/crackling noises persists.

The sound of the Sennheiser was working, but not well. Sometimes the Sennheiser was started but there was no sound. After a restart, the sound comes back. I could disable the Intel Audio USB and everything was working. However, I don’t like it, when I have a problem with a driver in the device manager. Often these problems caused new issues.

Hi, I have some problems with onboard audio, some time ago i switched to a new PC case, that has malfunctioning front 3.5mm headphones jack (only right channel plays), I tried to use MIC In jack, and retask to Headphone/Front Speaker out, but somehow it still doesnt sound like real Headphones jack, but that's not what i'm writting about now.
