Well, I wasn't able to get help from Ohm, and from my color coding chart I found, it is supposed to be rated 200-300pf, 250v with a 20% tolerance, but in my instrument readings, I got 2.134uf, which would mean that it is a 2.2uf.

Anyway I have Ohm Walsh 1's which are pretty cool but I am considering throwing down for the upgraded drivers which will convert them into Walsh "2.2000" which is supposedly equivalent to the Walsh 2000 speaker. Obviously, this would be a big upgrade over the 1's.

Wow, you sure have gone through the Ohm line extensively. I haven't had the pleasure of listening to that many models. Briefly heard the Walsh 2 and 4, heard more of the Ohm A and D2, but lived with the Ohm F, Walsh 5 and mainly listen to the 5000s for stereo. Add F3 for surround and Ohm subwoofers.

A good exsmple is BelCanto ref1000m amps that are the bomb with my Ohm Walsh speakers. They deliver up to 45 amps peak current. In general if the amps specs indicate doubling or near doubliing of power from 8 to 4 ohms that is a good indicator in lieu of specific current delivery specs.
