Posted October 30, 2007. It's a problem with nullDC itself, although some sound hardware configuration have it much worse than others. The static usually gets worse over time, and it's more prevalent in certain games (at least that's what my own experiments have led me to believe). Wait for the next version.

Struggling with NUllDC too. Recently replace graphics card to 1GB version - consistent framerate around 60 and gfx a lot better. But still the annoying crap with stuttering sound (not AS bad, but still enough to make it annoying).

Yeah Demul has these strange sound issues with the current build, and speed is slow in some games mainly with DSP sound emulation on. I have to use three older versions of Demul because of nagging issues, and Nulldc on the side. This is the reason why I still use a real dreamcast for the most part. Too much of a hassle sometimes for me.

Audio Stuttering as well~! I've been getting this stutter since the pre-launch of Endwalker. And it's persisted regularly throughout since. I'm a bit annoyed, but I really love the game and keep playin'. I just would like to go back and hear the boss music I missed is all.. I'd really appreciate some kind of help!

Through this message, I politely ask SquareEnix to take some solid action on the audio stuttering/lagging/crackling problem that has been reported so many times, but has been almost completely ignored -- except for a moderator that replied one day to all topics with a pre-written reply, asking for patience, only to go back ignoring everyone right after.
