Goldwave calls this Maximize Volume, other applications call it Normalize, the point is it's still running a fixed volume increase/decrease based on the already existing volume, keeping the dynamics of the file.

    I have tried Goldwave, MP3Gain and Sobolsoft mp3 normalizer, but they did nothing to normalize the audio, possibly because of the three different mics being used at the studio to record the audio.
