In the denon settings, i've turned off HDMI control and set the input assignment to HDMI 3 (sat/cable) and sound digital optical 1 (so it should be using the output from the sky hd box) Though in the sky settings>sound i only have 3 options: audio output - stereo digital audio output - dolby digital audio output delay - 0ms

Digital Audio Output Settings. 05 Sep 2021 01:03 PM. Just an interesting observation. I run my Sky Q box through a Pioneer LX901 AV reciever so I set the HDMI Digital Audio Output to Dolby Digital Plus so I can get Atmos when available. Now the Optical output is disabled and shouldn't have an effect on the HDMI output?

Re: Audio out. 19 Dec 2021 12:33 PM. I had to buy an HDMI eARC extractor, then try and miss, at end all worked and I can now output the audio via my existing Amplifier. See pictures of my connections, also settings. "Auto" gives me a flat sound with no bass, "passthrough" gives me all the sound effects plus bass. Report post.

Have Just worked out the fix for my Samsung TV to receive SKY via RF If you still have no sound after performing an Autotune performing the following menu selections 1.Menu 2.Broadcasting 3.Channel Settings 4.Manual Tuning 5.Analogue Tuning 6. Edit 7. Sound System 8. scroll through different types until you have sound mine worked on I 9. Save you are all done.
