i've installed bootcamp (windows 7 64 bit) on a new mac mini. When I turn on power an boot windows there's no sound over HDMI. The windows device manager says that everything is working properly. Then I boot mac os and HDMI sound works fine in mac os. Then booting windows again HDMI sound is working in windows too.

No sound from laptop speakers running windows 7 on a mac I have recently installed Windows 7 on my MBP using bootcamp. Everything is fine on the mac side of things, however, I cannot get any sound from my internal speakers on the Windows side, although I can use headphones with no problem.

Just to be clear I'm only using the Mac mini hardware. Clean install of windows 7 without boot camp and OSx (no dual boot). On the DVD\bootcamp\drivers there is no setup.exe. And there is not a Cirrus Driver, Just a RealTekSetup.exe. Without knowing what sound Cip this thing is using it is proving to be difficult to get the right drivers.

It works in Mac OS High Sierra but not in Windows 10 (latest build), so it's 100% a Windows issue (drivers or registry?). I have Bootcamp for Windows (version 6) installed with the drivers directly downloaded from the bootcamp helper. I can get audio directly from the built in speakers from the Cirrus Logic CS4206B (AB 88).
