No sound in TVTime. I cannot get any sound when using TVTime. My distro is FC4, but it is an ancient problem with FC3, FC2 and xawtv also. I can listen CD and DVD, but not TV. The audio card, AC97, is included in the motherboard. The TV card is AverTV Studio.

Try the trick mentioned in tvtime FAQ#11, that is load (and use) btaudio module and set up sox or similar to pass audio from it to your output device. Assuming /dev/dsp for output and /dev/dsp2 for DVB input: sox -r 32000 -w -t ossdsp /dev/dsp2 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp as per their example. Change devices to suit, or if using alsa or pulseaudio. Share

Get good picture via the composite input, but no audio. The TVtime on screen volume control is at "0" and can't be advanced. There is good audio going into the Hauppauge from the cable box, and I can route the audio out of the cable box to an outboard amplifier/speaker or headphones and that works, but is not the desired configuration.

I can't hear any audio. I assume somethings disabled or unistalled, but I'm not a computer person so I don't know what. I think the audio driver that isn't working is Realtek Audio, but I don't know where to install it or how to fix it, and all answers I've seen are just a wall of text full of words I have no understanding of.
