I've been trying at nauseum to get sound on a PC I built with Server 2008 R2 earlier this year. Basically under Play Back and Recording devices there is nothing listed there. I purchased a Sound Blaser Audigy Card 3 weeks ago, installed it into the PCI, installed all the drivers fine but no sound.
