The biggest problem is this receiver is designed to receive two particular flavors of video encoding: MPEG2 used by OTA broadcasters, and MPEG2 used by Dish Network. So far, VideoReDo is the only program with which I can open & play video files recorded on my FTA Viewsat PVR 7000. I've tried BS Player Pro, Windows Media Player, Nero Vision, DIVX Player, K-Lite Codec Pack with Media Player Classic, VLC, Real Player, Quick Time.
