Try changing the channel on your DIRECTV receiver. Changing channels helps to match up the audio sound and video. If you have a DVR, rewind the program you are watching. Noticed no audio but could still hear the dvr sound effects so I knew the tv's were getting audio from the dvr's. Both lose audio but only do so if tuned to KFOR. If I leave them on any other channel then I don't have this problem. I noticed some "pops" in the audio from KFOR that are not present on any other channels.

It would not work with the hdmi, due to same issue of no sound. Changed it over to the component, no more problems. It is a software issue, that both Pace & DirecTV are denying is causing this.
