    Thanks. I downloaded the Realtek ALC 887 driver which is the HD Audio one for onboard sound. It loaded fine but still no sound. If I go into device manager, everything says it is working fine for the sound. However, if it tries to find and start the audio service, it says no device installed. I am not sure of my next step.
