DVDA Pro will render the audio to AC3 if you tell it to, but the audio needs to be in the timeline in the first place. Check that you use in VMStudio the DVD-Architect template, which does not include sound. Then do a second render to AC3 format to get the sound. Make sure you give the two rendered files exactly the same name except for the .mpg & .ac3 extensions. Then use Insert Media in DVDA Studio and bring your .mpg file, the .ac3 file will come with it.

NO! It will play only videostream without any sound. DVD Architect cannot detect audiotrack in result mpg file. Only if the movie.mpg in the same directory with movie.ac3 it will play them correctly.
