Show disable and disconnected devices. Highlight speaker and on the lower Right click Properties check settings for Device Usage enabled and so on. Already uninstall / reinstall audio drivers. Download and installed latest Intel drivers. In Device Manager, all audio devices reported working. No available devices listed under SOUND. I also has an KVM switch with Audio. So I have a USB Audio in Device Manager too. However, under Sound there is no device listed.

Had the same problem with Vista...(no audio device installed) Try this it works.....first go to microsoft and install the upgrade (KB929685).....then go to the control panel>system>device manager.....highlight the sound controller.....uninstall the High Defination Sound Device and uninstall the driver (check box).....restart
