All of a sudden my lync 2013 x64 stopped recognizing my Audio device. If i go to settings=> audio devices i get a yellow box saying "We didn't find an audio device, which you need for calling. If you have one already, try checking Windows Device Manager to make sure it's installed and working."

I had the same problem with my DEL E7440 running Win7 sp1. No device was found. My solution was to delete all USB device drivers from the device manager under the Universal Serial Bus controllers. Restared the computer several times to have all drivers auto install. Then Lync 2013 finds all the sound devices. Regards Øyvind
