    Then somewhere along the way, the sound started working again on restart.. The only thing i think i did was restarted the computer, had no sound. Changed the creative console launcher from 'game mode' to 'entertainment mode' and back again. After that, the sound works perfectly fine on reboot without me having to do anything.
