It will warn you that idvd needs to re-encode all the assets again so click ok and let it re-encode what ever it can. Try that and see if the audio works.. my guess is its due to something funky...

I then used iDVD (on my MacBook Pro, using 10.5) to burn a DVD. The DVD now works fine on the MacBook Pro, but when I try to view it on my standalone DVD player, I get video but no sound.
