Hi! I am trying to use Nero Vision 5.3.3.0 to create a simple slideshow with background music onto DVD. I am getting no sound in the preview screen (with simulated remote control), and I get no sound on the resulting VOB file nor on the finished DVD. If I export the project to an avi file, i do get sound!

After installing Nero Vision 5 aka Nero 8, then no sound. The answer is to upgrade your processor. I had a Athlon 2600 XP and upgraded to an Intel Dual Core 2.6GHz and reinstalled windows xp. Now nero vision 5 is working perfectly. An unanswered question remains, is it the reinstall of windows or the new processor.

Burned DVD’s have no sound! Open video project. select the “options menu” in nero video window.. (top Right) Then select “recording format options”. Then select the “DVD Video” tab at the top. At the bottom of this window there is an “audio format” section.. In 2016 version it maybe set to “automatic”.
