If the HDCD is like the other Neil Young HDCD's, then it sounds pretty compressed on regular CD players. This is the case with the new "Live at the Fillmore" HDCD as well as with the "Greatest Hits" HDCD. I only have he DVD-A of "On the Beach", and it is great.
