I was even considering upgrading my Headunit to the newer MyGig REZ that does have it. I just couldn't fathom spending over $1000. I decided to make it my own system work, for less than 40 bucks total.

The RHR does but not the RER. You can hard connect with a Stereo 3.5mm Cord into the front Aux Port or into the front USB Port using a stock Phone Charge/Data Cable. Guess you should be able to wirelessly stream via Bluetooth with a Bluetooth USB Dongle plugged into the front USB Port on the HU as well. Have to give that a try myself to check out.

The next generation 730N RHR unit CAN stream music audio and other audio over Bluetooth. If your Jeep is already factory equipped with a RER unit then a swap to a RHR unit could be easily done. CAUTION: the RHR is equipped with anti-theft security that requires a 4 digit code imputed at time of first startup in a new vehicle.

I currently have the RER in my 07' R/T which I guess doesn't support music streaming. Is there a newer MyGig that does that I can just drop in? I've read there is a Can Bus & high speed Can Bus radios, but I am not sure which one I have. I am thinking it's highspeed, but would appreciate someone to chime in.

it's all inside the MyGIG radio, so I don't think it would be easy. If you had a different radio that had the external Bluetooth unit, I'd wonder if swapping the Bluetooth unit to a new unit would allow you to upgrade, but not with the RER.
