- I usually make my laptop go to sleep and reopen it , if that doesn't work restart steps and after uninstall is done , right click anywhere inside Device Manager folder and click Scan for hardware changes . That should get your audio to start working, sometimes it will take you up to 3-4 tries, but on very rare occasions. At least it works !!!!
