MPC-BE / Tickets / #504 MPC Audio Renderer - Fallback …

    https://sourceforge.net/p/mpcbe/tickets/504/
If I set MPC Audio Renderer to shared mode, there is no stuttering. During fallback to shared mode, the "Status" tab in MPC Audio Renderer also incorrectly shows "WASAPI Exclusive" for 5.1 / 7.1-channel sources, but correctly shows "WASAPI Shared" for 2-channel sources. This is when the playback device uses a 2-channel speaker layout.

I'm playing an AAC 2.0-channel 44100 Hz file on a 7.1-channel 48000 Hz speaker layout. MPC Audio Renderer incorrectly outputs 7.1 channels and "upmixes" the audio. LAV Audio Decoder outputs only 2 channels, and the input to MPC Audio Renderer is also 2 channels. I've attached a screenshot of LAV Audio Decoder and MPC Audio Renderer. 1 Attachments.
