    192Kb for mp3 is the bare minimum I'd say to use but again higher the better 256 or if the stereo can play it 320kb. I find ~68kb sounds like AM radio in the outback tbh. Also if the stereo can play wma swap to that and use above 192kb bitrates to see how it sounds.
