The Monsoon system only has one amplifier that supplies power to the 8 speakers in the car. If you add a sub-woofer, you'll need to add another amp to power it, or you can settle for one of those subs that has the built-in amp. You'll then need to get a signal from the headunit.

On the Monsoon System topic, your right. The Pioneer system in my G5 GT is much better than the Monsoon one in the G6. At least I think so.
