    In reply to Sal Baker • Mar 22, 2013. If you install "Magic Lantern" and then use an adapter, you can plug headphones into the A/V out and have live audio monitoring. (and lots of other very useful things too) You can't plug headphones directly into the 5D Mk II because the pin arrangement is not standard.
