The Monitor Audio S8s are decent but have some flaws. The tweeter can't handle much power without sounding strained at high volumes. The midwoofer and woofer cones have some insufficiently filtered metal-cone resonances that can be audible at higher levels, making the speaker sound piercing. Also, the bass is a little tubby/resonant. 3.
